When I say down home, you'll find it here. The building is a small log cabin type structure, Concrete floors and still has some Christmas decorations up. Don't let the super casual atmosphere fool you into thinking this is not a great food place. Food is tasty and if you leave here hungry, you weren't hungry to start. Best to ask for the carry-out box from the start, because you probably won't finish it all. Hope when you leave here you only have a short distance to travel as it is much like thanksgiving dinner; must take a nap after. When you wake up you'll finish your meal.

Although Luvans serves the best food we have tried near Myrtle beach, the last couple of times we visited we saw roaches in the dinning room. The first time we saw one crawling near the bar, this week when we returned, there were three on the wall . It's a shame because the food is reasonably priced and the portions are big.

Food is overrated it gave our entire family food poisoning probably thanks to the nasty dog in the kitchen that is licking the floor In Search of food scraps and also undercooked food and poor work ethics in the kitchen being that the chef/owner/resident of the fish camp telling people that he lives in the kitchen literally sleeps there and the kitchen (reliable source) this was just my experience and a few others in my party,so maybe still eat there if you have a high immune system and just be cautious

What a find. A wide variety of Fresh seafood, large portions and great service. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal.

The best fried food ever. Anywhere. Hush puppies. Oyster Stew was the best I ever had. Fried oysters and catfish fantastic. See you next year.
